From colorful prints to neutral tones, Kate Middleton wears them well. Over the years, there have been a few of her looks that stood out. These are outfits that we have now come to associate with her and they gave us more reasons to appreciate their style.
Kate isn't afraid of going bright and bubbly, even for a black tie event. And she proved just that in 2015 when she attended the 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner, held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, in a floral number.
She explored her love for prints and patterns by wearing what was reported to be a $4,070 Erdem flower-print dress. She accessorized her look with diamond-and-sapphire earrings, which were believed to have once belonged to the Queen Mother.
She also wore a diamond bracelet and a $595 Anya Hindmarch 'Maud' satin black clutch.
This was a solo appearance for Kate, whose fun and bright outfit choice must have drawn people's eyes to her. She sure reminded everyone why she's a renowned style icon by bringing that added glamor to a black-tie event.
Apparently, she wasn't worried about turning ends with the dramatic gown. She was mostly focused on business but her bright smile and confident demeanor blended perfectly with the dress to give out the impression of a true queen.
The good news is that floral prints aren't a thing of the past for the Duchess. Only recently, she stepped out in a black floral Alexander McQueen gown at the National Portrait Gallery in London, the same dress she wore to the BAFTA in 2017.
She wore her hair down and, like before, she carried a black clutch this time around, too.
The royal mother of three looks gorgeous in basically anything and we love that she enjoys playing around with prints and patterns. Being a future Queen sure isn't stopping her from exploring.
