On Monday, July 9th, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their kids celebrated the Christening of their youngest child, Prince Louis.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, plus other members of the royal family, were also at the church to celebrate the special occasion. Earlier in the day, photographers captured some special moments between the guests, but more recently released photos were a lot more intimate.
On Sunday, the Kensington Palace shared some portraits taken at the Christening and we got to see a whole different side of the event.
These portraits were taken by photographer Matt Holyoak in the Morning Room at Clarence House, the London residence of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. The baptism itself was held at the Chapel Royal at St. James Palace.
The first photo featured Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children. Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Charles, and Camilla were also there to support the couple. So were Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, the Duchess' siblings, James Middleton and Pippa Middleton, and her husband James Matthews.
The second picture featured just the royal family members. Will and Kate were seated along with their adorable kids. Prince George's super cute smile and Princess Charlotte's adoring look at her baby brother sure stole the show.
In the third photo, we get to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their beautiful children. They are now a family of five.
The fourth picture featured just the new mom and her infant son. Fans got to see a closeup of Prince Louis as his mother looked down adoringly at him.
In the last one, released a few hours ago, Prince Louis also stole the hearts of royal fans. We have to say, this was by far many people's favorite.
Unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were unable to attend the event due to prior engagements.
Congratulations to the Cambridge family.
