Actress Olivia de Havilland is the only living cast member from the iconic Civil War movie 'Gone With The Wind.'
Her brilliant career lasted 53 years, from 1935 to 1988. During this time she became an icon in films, plays and on the television.
The Oscar-winning actress played the role of Melanie Hamilton Wilkes in the movie. She was the sister-in-law and later best friend of the main character, Scarlet O'Hara.
Released in 1939, Gone With The Wind earned Olivia a nomination for an Academy Award.
Other Hollywood icons that featured in the movie were Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. Olivia is currently based in Paris, France. Apart from 'Gone With The Wind' she also featured in other movies such as 'To Each His Own' and 'The Heiress.' For both films, she took home two Best Actress award at the Oscars.
This lovely woman is all about breaking records. She was the oldest person ever to be named a Dame by the Queen of England. She was 101 years old when this honour was bestowed on her. She said:

Olivia got married to Marcus Goodrich in 1946, however, the marriage ended seven years later. They had one child, Benjamin Goodrich.
Her second child, Gisèle Galante, was born to editor Pierre Galante. Pierre and Olivia married in 1955 but were separated in 1962. It was this marriage that prompted the actress' move to Paris.
She and Pierre remained friends even after their divorce was finalized, and she was there for him while he battled lung cancer until his passing in 1998.
