It looks like young Princess Charlotte is taking quite an interest in horseback riding. And we have the feeling that her great-grandmother is very pleased.
Queen Elizabeth's love for horses
The Queen of England has been pictured many times looking super comfortable on and around a horse. There is no doubt that this passion has been developing since she was a little girl. Just check out these photos of her happily riding her way around.
She never let her age keep her from basking in this hobby, as she has been seen riding even in her 80s and 90s.
Princess Charlotte's love for horses
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are obviously encouraging horseback riding for their kids. A source told the UK Dailymail, back in 2015, that Prince George was already learning to ride at the age of two.
Even though Kate is not really a big fan of the sport, she and her husband are very supportive of the children.
As soon as George began to walk confidently, the source revealed, the royal parents decided that it was time to get him on a horse. And, apparently, he loved it.
About a year later, the Duchess revealed that Princess Charlotte was honing her riding skills as well.
During an event where Olympians and Paralympians were honored at the Buckingham Palace, Kate Middleton reportedly told Paralympic Equestrian Natasha Baker that Charlotte was already in love with riding.
Natasha told the press that she had enquired about the Duchess' children when Kate revealed her daughter's budding love for horseback riding.
She emphasized that Charlotte has this passion for horses and although she doesn’t echo it, she’ll do her best to champion and encourage it.
What Kate enjoys doing
Even though she's not a big fan of horseback riding, Kate Middleton has a very interesting hobby. Her husband once revealed that she loves adult coloring books.
The Duke reportedly said this to Johanna Basford, author of adult coloring book: Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Coloring Book.
What we wouldn't give to get a glimpse of some of the Duchess' art.
