Who gets to keep the children is one of the biggest challenges for divorced parents. In spite of whatever rift there is between a separating couple, they tend to take it out in court cases.

However, the children must always go to the fittest parent with better parenting style.

Therefore, between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who is the better parent to their six kids, Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne?

The gist from ex-nannies and friends places Angelina Jolie in the position of the better parent.

Angelina is reportedly an amicable parent, and she showed their six kids a balanced multicultural life, which earned them the name 'children of the world.'

However, it seems that Pitt has been more of a disciplinarian. He reportedly shouted more and tried to train them in bedtimes, manners, and responsibilities.

In fact, it was after an instance in which Brad raised his voice at Jolie and their eldest son, Maddox, on a jet that Jolie filed for a divorce.

When their marriage was rosy, Jolie told any reporter who would listen that Pitt was the best father all through the years that they were together.

Since their separation, the kids have been with Jolie. Despite her busy schedule, seeing as she is shooting her upcoming movie, 'Maleficent 2,' the 43-year-old actress still made time for her children.

While speaking with People, a source explained that Brad hadn't been given the opportunity to connect with the kids like he wants to. The insider said:

"He had very little contact with them. The kids were mostly with Angie, so they are, of course, very attached to her. It's frustrating for Brad."

Furthermore, Jolie stated that Brad barely pays anything for child support, although the court hasn't made its final ruling.

Each parent's team of lawyers are meticulously working on what's best for the estranged family.

Could it be that Joile has denied Brad a chance to prove that he is a good parent since the separation? Or is Brad not very concerned about seeing his kids and that's why he's rarely with them?

Hopefully, both parties are able to come to an agreement soon, so that the children can go back to trying to have a normal life.
