Sometimes, you simply have to cut costs where you can just to get by, but some netizens are of the opinion that one bride has a wrong idea on how to do that.

In a now-deleted post on Facebook, a bride-to-be announced that she planned to have her aunt's funeral on her wedding day and the internet was quite confused.

Her plans were reshared on Reddit by a family member and many people found the whole thing bizarre. Aunt Karen had apparently died from natural causes a week before the bride's wedding day. While sharing this news online, the woman explained that the upcoming nuptials would not be canceled.

However, she added that because "funeral costs are skyrocketing" they were going to have an open casket funeral session during the wedding.

She will be on display for those who wish to gain some closure.

She let her guests know that while the loss was devastating, this was also a happy moment for the bride and groom who would be sharing their vows.

Many people seemed to find this woman's wedding plans quite funny. In fact, one online user hilariously shared some great possibilities the bride and groom could go for at their funeral/wedding.

The user, who shared the post on Reddit, said that family members found the whole thing disturbing, too. In fact, one of the younger kids cried because he was afraid to see "dead Aunt Karen".

And some commenters also wondered what would be the appropriate attire for a person to wear to such an event.

Some people did feel that the bride had the right to do whatever she wanted, and while this was certainly weird, it wasn't completely crazy.

Well, regardless of the opinions, one thing everyone can agree on is that this is one wedding that people will be talking about for years to come. Hopefully, Aunt Karen's presence won't traumatize the guests.
