If you still have doubts, this story of a young athlete, Justin Gallegos, may hlep clear your doubts, as he made history with one of the biggest sports brands in the market, Nike, despite his setbacks.

Justin Gallegos, just like every other kid, had always wanted to run. He had his eyes set on the tracks and wished to be a part of the school's athletic team, but he had a challenge that made the task a bit more difficult for him.

He had cerebral palsy, a condition that prevented him from having optimal muscle coordination, and also affected his speech.

That was a big disadvantage. How was he going to run as fast as the best when he couldn't even walk?  But Justin was determined and never gave up.

Years upon years, Justin trained his body until he eventually learned to run, beating all the odds to do what no one thought was possible.

While he was enrolled at the University of Oregon, he joined the school's track team and his zeal caught the attention of Nike representatives.

A fighter, Justin kept pushing on merely for his love of it, as he didn't know he was being watched. Until a fateful day his life changed.

Justin, like many other contestants, took part in a cross country race. He didn't know, however, that the cameras were aimed at him. On the 6th of October, a day for the celebration of World Cerebral Palsy Day, Justin was met with the news that he had just received a contract from Nike.

It was the first time something of the kind ever happened for someone in his condition. It was an amazing experience and Justin, who could not hold back his tears and excitement, fell on his knees. He went further ahead to share the news on his Instagram page saying:

"You don't realize how realistic and emotional your dreams are until they play out before your eyes! Signing this contract was a huge success for me and I would not have made it without my friends and family and teammates! This was perhaps the most emotional moment in my seven years of running"

For Justin, it was a dream come true. Not only did he break the boundaries set by his condition, but he also signed his name in the history books.

Nike, an ever-growing and supporting organization, went further ahead to design custom-made shoes for Justin, ‘The AirZom Pegasus 35 FlyBase'. Justin has shown the world that nothing is impossible. A truly inspirational story!
