Virginia Man Who Hates Shoveling Clears Snow By Melting It With A Flamethrower

Technology in this century is fast developing, and various machines have been created to make life easier.

Nathanael Caplinger, from southwest Virginia, was faced with the task of clearing the snow that had gathered on his property after a snowstorm.

However, he hated shoveling and found another means to get rid of the snow.

Since he had previously read an ad post regarding a blowtorch device that aids this task, Nathanael decided to make use of the knowledge he gained and employed the use of a similar machine called a flamethrower.

After carefully considering it, he purchased the flamethrower. Before buying the dangerous machine, he researched the state and local laws and consulted with local officials in his area.

When speaking to ABC 8News about the experience, Nathanael confessed that the device was very effective, however, he emphasized its safety measures. He advised:

"Make sure there are no flammables nearby. Make sure it's only what you want to burn, make sure afterward hang out for about a half hour, make sure nothing reignites.”

Although this process is fast, one cannot be overly-confident.
