Here's a 21-day walking plan that'll help you lose weight on the go. The plan is designed for beginners, so if you feel it's too easy for you, you can adjust it according to your expectations.

In addition to walking, you should balance your dieting habits: give sweets a miss, substitute water for milk in your coffee, consume more fruits and veggies, and decrease your overall caloric intake. In addition to that, walking should become a regular day-to-day habit, as otherwise it won't bring the expected results. What's more, modify your lifestyle a bit, for example, by walking instread of using public transportation or driving. .

During your first and every other walk, focus on your breath: breathe calmly and deeply all the time, coordinating your breath with the rhythm you're moving! Day 2 - 7 minutes of walking, in the morning and in the evening.

Day 3 - 9 minutes of walking, in the morning and in the evening.

Day 4 - Your first personal achievement! Celebrate it, walking 10 minutes in the morning and in the evening.

Day 5 - 12 minutes of walking, always both in the morning and in the evening.

Day 6 - 15 minutes of walking, in the morning and in the evening

Day 7 - 18 minutes of walking, in the morning and in the evening.

Here comes the second week of your regular walking routine! We're going to change the tactics a bit, increasing your walking speed from time to time. Let's rock and roll!

Day 8 - 2 minutes of easy walking, followed by 10 minutes of walking fast, then 2 minutes of easy walking again.

Day 9 - 20 minutes of walking in a moderate pace.

Day 10 - 5 minutes of easy walking, followed by 12 minutes of walking fast, then 5 minutes of easy walking again.

Day 12 - 5 minutes of easy walking, 15 minutes of walking fast, then 5 minutes of easy walking again.

Day 13 - 20 minutes of walking in a moderate pace.

Day 14 - 5 minutes of easy walking, 18 minutes of walking fast, then 5 minutes of easy walking again.

Now you're almost in the homestretch! If you're ready for the final heat, let's add up some strength and forge ahead.

Day 15 - 10 minutes of walking up and down the stairs, followed by 2 minutes of walking in a fast pace.

Day 16 - 20 minutes of walking in a moderate pace.

Day 17 - 12 minutes of walking up and down the stairs, then 2 minutes of walking in a fast pace.

Day 18 - 25 minutes of walking in a moderate pace, followed by two sets of 12 squats.

Day 19 - 20 minutes of walking up and down the stairs, then 2 minutes of walking in a fast pace.

Day 20 - 25 minutes of walking in a moderate pace.

Day 21 - 20 minutes of walking in a fast pace, then 3 minutes of easy walking.

Before you go out for your first walk, make sure you have an adequate pair of shoes (seriously). Athletic footwear and practical clothing should be put on even if physical activity is as easy as walking. 

Besides, don't forget to individualize this walking plan if you feel that the activities suggested are too easy for you. You can modify the plan, brisking up your pace a bit and choosing a more complicated route to go. Or you can visit an expert and ask for their recommendation.
