A couple decided to have a special photo session to celebrate the first Christmas with their adorable quintuplets.
For a long time, Briana and Jordan Driskell desperately wanted to become parents. After two years of trying to conceive, they decided to give IUI (intrauterine insemination) a go to help them reach their goal.
Their first four attempts were not very successful. It became so heartbreaking that the couple considered giving up.
According to Briana, they then took a break from their attempts for six months after which they decided to give it one last try. The fifth time was the charm for the couple. The results were so successful that it was beyond their imagination. Weeks after the procedure, they learned they were having five babies.
“I like to say I got a baby for every IUI attempt,” Brian told Babble.
While it seemed like all their prayers were answered, the subsequent months were not as smooth as the parents-to-be would have liked. Briana experienced several pregnancy complications including OHS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome), hyperemesis gravidarum and pre-eclampsia. Briana spent the six weeks leading up to the birth on bedrest.
Finally, at 28 weeks and 3 days, the babies came when it became clear Briana's health was at risk and she could not carry them in her womb much longer.
Now the Driskell quints are over 6 months old. Little Zoey, Asher, Dakota, Gavin, and Hollyn recently participated the sweetest Christmas photo shoot.
For the pictures, Briana said she made the onesies herself and even matched each of them with the child's personality. Three of the babies are fussy and two are calm, she explained.
We cannot deny that these are some of the sweetest Christmas photos we've ever seen. The babies are super adorable and clearly healthy. We imagine that Briana and Jordan Driskell are very happy and proud of their growing babies.
