It seems like just yesterday that we are ooh-ing and aah-ing over pictures of the adorable Princess Charlotte of Cambridge when she was born in May 2015. Now she is all set to begin her first day of nursery school and we just cannot get over the adorableness.
On Monday, January 8, Kensington Palace shared some pictures of the super cute 2-year-old on her first day of nursery school.
The little beauty was dressed in a lovely red coat which was paired with grey tights, red shoes and a charming red bow on her hair. In addition, she had on a pink backpack with a matching scarf.
Kensington Palace explained via social media that the pictures were taken by her mother, Kate Middleton, just as the little girl was about to leave for school.
A few weeks ago, The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William, announced that Charlotte would be attending the Willcocks Nursery School at the beginning of the year.
The educational establishment was founded in1964 and is located in a church hall which is a short walk from Charlotte's and her family's home. According to CNN, the school fees is about £14,550 every year.
Princess Charlotte and her older brother, Prince George, are growing up so fast. But it's a good thing that the Duchess will be welcoming baby number three in May, so the royal kids are probably looking forward to being a big brother and big sister.
Speaking of fantastic news in the family, in May, Charlotte's uncle, Prince Harry, will be tying the knots with his American beau, Meghan Markle. According to some speculations, the kids may even serve as page boy/flower girl at the wedding.
We hope Charlotte enjoyed her first day of school. Considering how excited she seemed in these pictures, we imagine it was a day she had looked forward to very much.
