In July 2017, much attention was given to this photo of the little boy Braydon, who knelt in prayer during a shopping trip with his mom at Walmart.
The photo spread across Facebook, garnering tons of reaction.
This little boy taught us all an essential lesson about how important it is to stay by the side of your special someones.
Each year, at a rough estimate, 800,000 U.S. kids are reported missing, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
When the mom of the little boy discovered her son had disappeared, she panicked.
After several minutes of fear-driven searches, she finally found him, and what she saw hit her like a ton of bricks.
Initially, the worried mother wanted to tell the boy off for leaving her side, but when she saw him knelt in prayer, she teared up, not believing her eyes.
Having taken a closer look at the wall in front of which her son was kneeling, the woman lost her footing and shed a tear.
The poster on the wall said 'Every second counts'. It was about missing children, whose photos were beside this sad-but-true logo.
The moment of their return home to their families could not come soon enough, and little Braydon decided to help them with a prayer.
Among the children whose photos were displayed on the poster was Aubrey Jayce Carroll, who has been missing since 2016.
The Facebook page dedicated to boy's search posted Braydon's photo in tribute to boy's compassion.
The image of Braydon became a real Facebook breakthrough and one of the comments summarized its meaning in the most powerful way:
Whether or not you believe in God really doesn't matter. This was a child in Walmart who was thinking about others and doing the only thing he could to help. The world would be a better place if everyone followed his example.
