Some people make us believe that kindness and sympathy still exist. They give us hope for a better future! Volunteers in India found a dog who was doomed to death. The poor animal had fallen into hot tar, which made his body become as solid as a rock. Hot tar is a dark, oily, viscous material, consisting mainly of hydrocarbons, produced from wood, coal or peat, and it’s usually used for roof building.
The dog was stuck to the ground, motionless and almost lifeless when people from Animal Aid Unlimited found him. Luckily, they took care of the animal and helped him overcome his miserable condition. The heart-wrenching video on YouTube features the volunteers washing the tar away.
That was not an easy task, as they needed more than 3 hours a day for 2 days to clean the dog’s skin and fur with the help of vegetable oil. If not for those people, that pup would not have survived.
It's amazing how he got a second chance to live!
The Animal Rescue organization is based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. They fight for animals’ protection, claiming that every living creature has a right to live in safety and freedom. They help thousands of homeless animals who are incapable of surviving by themselves on the streets. The Organization place them in shelters and help them find homes. They rescue dogs, donkeys, cows, cats and birds and show them that it is possible to be free from cruelty and neglect by providing them love and care.
These people deserve a standing ovation!
