Even though the internet is overflowing with stories showing dogs’ strong allegiance to their owners, few of them compare to this video, which was recently uploaded to Youtube.

The video shows a service dog, who goes by the name of Wiley, crying at the grave of his handler’s grandmother. He looked so sad.

Wiley is a service wolf that helps veterans who have returned from war transition into civilian lives through therapy and care. He belongs to a program called Warriors and Wolves.

Dogs are very emotional pets, especially when it comes to the loss of a loved one. But is it really possible for a dog to cry?

The video, which quickly went viral, bagged over 9 million views and several comments. Some people sympathized and commended on the dog's loyalty.

However, some comments disregarded the action saying the dog could have been ‘reverse sneezing’ or reacting to an allergy.

The dog's handler commented on the post that, while she might not be a vet and might be wrong about Wiley crying, his action has helped her cope with the loss and grief she is feeling.

Our hearts go out to Wiley’s handler and though opinions are very much varied on Wiley's tears, it is a beautiful thing he can in some way help his handler with the loss of her grandmother.
