So Tearful: The Touching Story Of Abandoned Dog That Was Dumped In The Trash But Found Love Again
December 4, 2018 12:35 By Mambee
Dog abandonment is widely becoming a severe issue. With the rate of abandoned dogs increasing year after year, authorities are advising people to take proper measures in ensuring their dogs are well catered for.
In a survey by dog trust, UK's largest dog welfare charity, it was revealed that 102,363 stray and abandoned dogs were handled by local authorities between 2014-2015.
Very sad indeed, it breaks the heart of dog lovers to hear that such cruelty is dealt out to these innocents beings.
Hope finds hope
Hope was abandoned in the trash outside Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption, Mission, Kansas. The staff of this organization found her, but were unable to lift her head. The dog was weak, bony and almost giving up all hope.
The PR of the organization said she couldn't believe her eyes and almost started crying when she saw the state in which Hope was in.
They immediately swung into action and gave her the medical care she needed. They found out she had an infected elbow and masses on her brain and adrenal glands.
They couldn't tell how long she had been like that or how she got the infections, but none of that mattered: All that mattered was getting Hope the help she needed.
She went into surgery, which was thankfully successful, and now she is recovering and healing.
With a very determined mind to get through her ordeal, Hope is beginning to see the light at the end of her tunnel.
Thankfully, Hope has found her forever home and her new owner, Yasmine Perez, posted a picture snuggling with Hope.
A happy ending
We appreciate Yasmine for stepping up and giving Hope the life she deserves. Ever since Hope's story went online, thousands of responders have shown their concern towards her and everyone is glad she has found love and hope forever.
