30 Years And Counting! Michael J. Fox And Tracy Pollan Had Their First Kiss On Camera, And They Are Still Going Strong Decades Later

.Hollywood couple Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan have managed to keep their relationship strong and thriving for years. And we would very much like to know their secret.
The pair first met when they both acted in Family Ties. There was even a scene in the series that called for their characters, Alex P. Keaton and Ellen Reed to kiss on screen. This became their first kiss.

Michael was the one who revealed this important information when he was a guest on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live in 2014. The tied the knot in on July 16, 1988, and this year, they celebrated their 30th anniversary.
Several years and four kids later, Tracy revealed that being a good father is one of the reasons she loves Michael. She once told PEOPLE that Michael "is an amazing father," then described him as "one of the smartest people I know...and he's pretty cute still!"
Even though they had known each other for years, it was not until 1987, when they both had roles in the movie, Bright Lights, Big City that they became an item.
Their first child, Sam Michael, was born on May 30, 1989. The couple's twin girls, Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances, followed in 1995. Then their daughter Esmé joined the family in 2001.
The couple proved that nothing could tear them apart when Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Tracy revealed how that time only strengthened their bond. She was impressed by how accepting he was and how he made things easier on his family.
Michael, on the other hand, worried that his sickness could have Tracy running for the hills. But, as he put it to Oprah "nothing Tracy was doing was showing me that she didn't want to be with me."

She also shared an important tip that can be helpful to couples. She explained that their relationship involves "giving each other the benefit of the doubt" when slights occur. She told PEOPLE:
A lot of times he'll just say to me, 'You know who I am, would I ever say anything to try to hurt your feelings? Just give me the benefit of the doubt.
