When life gives you lemons, make some lemonade. That's exactly what music superstar Adam Lambert did when he did not to win at the 2009 edition of the American Idol.
After a stint on the big stage, the talented musician put his newfound fame to use and released his first studio album ‘For Your Entertainment.’
It was an instant success, and it propelled him to the top. Since then, it has been an amazing ride and he has sold millions of singles and albums worldwide.
Going forward, Adam joined the famous band Queen, thus taking the role of their iconic lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991.
So, yes! He is that good.
Once again, he has put his fantastic singing talents on display, and this time he brought pop legend Cher to tears.
He got Cher to cry with his excellent performance
It all happened at the Kennedy Center Honors, where an eager crowd was waiting to hear the exceptional Adam Lambert perform.
Among the audience was the famous actress and singer, Cher, also known as the ‘Goddess of Pop.’
As Adam began to perform, the crowd became silent and his fantastic voice echoed throughout.
His choice of song was even more astounding: Cher’s 1998 hit song ‘Believe’, which rocked the music industry and earned her an entry in the Guinness World Record.
It was evident that the performance moved her. As it got to its climax, tears rolled down her eyes. It was a beautiful moment.
When Adam concluded, she could not keep her hands apart and gave him a standing ovation.
Cher takes to Twitter to praise him
Cher had a lot of sweet words for Adam while recounting the experience on her Twitter page. She wrote:

Having heard @adamlambert sing live, I know his voice seems to resonate right through your body in a very visceral way, so I understand you having difficulty putting your feelings into words. But watching you react to him said far more than words ever could. ❤️ #KCHonors #Believe— Robin in NYC (@robininny) December 27, 2018
Honestly, the song remains as beautiful as it was back in 1998!
