Duchess Meghan is ready to plunge into the royal life. After the honeymoon with her husband, the Duke of Sussex, Meghan will start performing her royal duties.
She is known as a proud feminist and a fighter for women’s empowering. This would be the main tune of her work. She has already started her own project, which remains a secret for now, but it will hopefully be announced in near future.
Royal expert and commentator Omid Scobie has recently announced the exciting news about Meghan’s outing.
Talk about a welcome to the Firm! Duchess Meghan will be joining the Queen for THREE royal engagements in Cheshire next week.— Omid Scobie (@scobie) June 4, 2018
On June 14 the pair will open the @StoryhouseLive theatre and the Mersey Gateway Bridge at @CatalystSDC. They’ll also attend a @ChesterTownHall lunch.
She is about to participate in her first charity event in Chester. She will not be accompanied by Prince Harry, but by a far more influential companion. Meghan Markle is about to join the Queen at three royal events in June.
It must be really exciting for Meghan to share the trip with the Queen! Scobie revealed to ELLE that the Duchess “is keen to start working”.
She is concerned about the conditions and issues in which the youth in the Commonwealth grow, especially the "gang culture". Now, she has a powerful voice to speak for changes.
She will definitely have plenty of work this year, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's schedule is really busy. They will have many trips around the Commonwealth, working on issues that hit Meghan’s and Harry’s circle of interest.
Scobie also shared the the couple's plans to travel overseas. In October, they will fly to Sydney for the Invictus Games, and go on tours around Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga.
Welcome to the firm, Duchess of Sussex! The official bio on the Royal Website states: “She will perform Royal duties in support of The Queen through engagements at home and overseas, alongside a growing portfolio of charitable work and patronages.”
Meghan is not new to charity work, as in 2016 she became a Global Ambassador for World Vision and took a trip to Rwanda during the clean water campaign. In 2017, she went to India to raise awareness about the lack of education for young girls.
Meghan’s charity experience has struck her to the core and empowered her for new ideas and plans. We can’t wait to find out about the Duchess’ new projects and campaigns, and the results of her hard work.
