Meghan's passion for delicate, minimalist jewelry designs in warm golds is easy not to notice. Sometimes you even need to zero in on pictures to catch a sight of those tiny pieces she often wears.

In fact, the Duchess of Sussex's jewelry style can be characterized by a few words: classic, delicate, and understated. Let's take a look at how all those minimalist jewel pieces stack up.

Rings, rings, rings!

Sure enough, not everyone can buy multi-carat diamonds, but despite her royal status, Meghan isn't aiming at buying any. On a visit to Scotland, Meghan wore simple and affordable jewelry that most people can get. In particular, her jewelry set consisted of a $44 Catbird Threadbare ring and a $60 Missoma Interstellar ring.

A thumb ring

It turns out that the Duchess of Sussex is passionate about rings. When she shook hands with people visiting the Commonwealth Meeting of the Heads of Government, there were rings on pretty much every one of her fingers, including her thumb. It's quite an unusual jewel piece for the royalty.

She breaks up matching sets

Meghan has a habit of breaking up matching sets. In fact, she can combine a bracelet with a pair of Cartier earrings from the same collection but from different jewelry sets. Meghan loves to break traditions.

Mismatched earrings

Another passion Meghan seems to be falling for is asymmetrical earrings. On her visit to Cardiff Castle, she wore mismatched jewelry. A Zofia Day's earring was on her right ear, while a yellow triple star earring could be seen on the left.

Wedding rings worn before

Much to everyone's surprise, on her big day, Meghan reached for an already-worn pair of Cartier rings, which had debuted just a month before on her visit to the Invictus Games.

Yellow gold go-to metal

In an interview with the BBC, Prince Harry revealed that Meghan's engagement ring would have been made of yellow gold because it's her favorite metal. That's the reason Meghan wore a collection of glimmering bangles of yellow gold for the Queens 92nd birthday party.

Most expensive pieces

Though the Duchess of Sussex loves minimalism, her most expensive pieces are double-diamond earrings of white gold that come from Birks - a Canadian version of Tiffany's. These earrings cost approximate $7,000.

The engagement ring

Meghan's engagement ring, which hides a lot of sentimental details about Meghan and Harry's romantic history, is almost half the size of Kate's. While the center gem alone on Kate's wedding band is about 12 carats, Meghan's ring altogether is nearly 6.5 carats. However, size does not matter, especially when it comes to such priceless pieces as engagement rings.
