Jo Andres Buscemi, who was a wife, mother, a friend, a filmmaker, choreographer, artist and more, passed away at the age of 65 in New York City.
We took some time out to reminisce some of her best moments with us.
Jo Andres and Steve married in 1987, and their union is blessed with a son, Lucian, who was born in 1990.
While Steve is more popularly known for his TV series, Boardwalk Empire and The Sopranos, Jo Andres was also successful in her field.
She received praise for her 1996 film 'Black Kites’, which was played at various film festivals in Sundance, Toronto, London, and other places.
Her husband was inarguably her number one fan. In 2009, he made a statement to back up his spot as her number one fan during an interview with the Independent.
He revealed his favorite work of art was something done by Jo Andres. He went further to praise her, saying:
"She paints, she makes films, she has done performance."
The couple also worked together on a short film called 'What Happened To Pete', in 1992.
It was a heart-wrenching sight when Steve walked out of the house carrying a casket on Wednesday.
He was reported by Radar Online to have headed to a funeral home with a police escort in tow.
Although the events surrounding her demise are not yet clear, she was surrounded by family and friends at the time.
We wish the family, friends, and fans of the Buscemi the strength they need during this hard time. Jo Andres was dear to us, and we will surely miss her. Rest in peace, queen.
