The joy of having a baby comes with so much love and excitement that one cannot but share the good news with the world. 37-year-old comedienne Amy Schumer has just done so.
The actress, comedian, and activist announced on Instagram that she and her husband, celebrity chef and cookbook author Chris Fischer, are expecting their first child together.
Interestingly, Amy's announcement took a different approach from the typical announcements celebrities do via the social media.
The Trainwreck star chose to direct fans to the Instagram page of her friend Jessica Yellin, of News Not Noise, to see the announcement.
In the post, Jessica started out by making voting recommendations as endorsed by Amy Schumer.
The great news about Amy's pregnancy was at the end of Schumer's list of endorsements for congressional and gubernatorial candidates in the midterm election.
Schumer teased the announcement on her personal Instagram page by posting a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with Amy's and her husband's faces photoshopped onto their bodies.
They have joined the train of expectant parents, then. Congratulations to the couple!
Before now, Amy and Chris have had two pregnancy rumors.
Shortly after their wedding, there were speculations about Amy's pregnancy. The duo tied the knot in a private ceremony in Malibu California, on February 13, 2018.
They got married in front of about 80 loved ones, including celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, David Spade, Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chelsea Handler, and Larry David.
The couple had only dated for few months. This aroused suspicion as to why she and Chris were quick to tie the knot. However, Amy refuted any pregnancy claims as the reason for their quick nuptials.
Again rumors circulated in July when she announced on Instagram that she was cooking something up, and then posted a picture with her hands near her belly.
But again, she rebuffed the rumor days later.
It's pleasing that what was formerly a rumor is now true. Congratualtions again to the happy couple!
