Here Are Newly-Released Photos From Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra’s Talk Of The Town Wedding
When Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet of the MET Gala together in 2017, the internet went wild. That was when the rumors of a romance began, but the couple denied it and kept it under wraps.
A few months later, the outings became more frequent, and it was then that their fans knew something had to be going on between the singer and the former Miss World winner.
Well, the big day finally came and, as expected, they broke the internet with their jaw-dropping wedding pictures.
In an exclusive with PEOPLE magazine, they gave insights into the three-tier wedding, which was a blend of culture from both families. Thus, they gave their fans a sneak peek.
The first was the Mehendi ceremony, which took place on December 1st.
Here, the couple was seen all smiles as they were dressed in a kurta by a famous Indian designer, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Priyanka's was particularly stunning with its colorful fabric.
Priyanka and Jonas subsequently had their Christian wedding ceremony at the same venue.
They looked gorgeous to say the least, as they were both dressed in designs from Ralph Lauren. Priyanka had on an embroidered flowing gown and complemented it with a 75-foot-long veil.
Nick, on the other hand, was looking dapper in a Ralph men's tuxedo, like a prince on his special day.
The fourth-day wedding ceremony ended with a Hindu wedding, which seemed to be the highlight of the day. The couple were dressed in native Indian wedding attire and looked astonishing.
Priyanka claimed she had always wanted a red dress and immediately fell in love with the design brought in by Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherji. Nick looked dazzling as well.
She also disclosed that it was a dream come true. She was always unsure of how her wedding would turn out, but this was more than what she had dreamed of. Priyanka said:
I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up. We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us.
Having both families come together and have a special time despite their religious and cultural differences was heart melting for her.
The whole ceremony took place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India. Many of the couple's closest friends, colleagues and family members were present.
We wish Priyanka and Nick a happy married life and look forward to seeing more of this beautiful couple.
