Happy birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge! The Duchess has had some exciting birthdays celebrations over the years that have piqued the interest of royal fans all over the world.
During her twenties, clubbing was her thing and going into her thirties she opted for something different. Let’s have a look down memory lane, shall we?
In 2006, Kate was already affiliated with Prince William, making her a photographer’s favorite. Tons of photographers flooded Kate’s flat in London during her special day. Clarence House had to release a statement that she be left alone.
Nevertheless, the paparazzi couldn’t stop William from showing his girl some love. He gifted her a green enamel Van Cleef & Arpels diamond-framed makeup compact, featuring a polo player about to hit a pearl.
Kate spent her birthday without her boyfriend. She had a meal out with her family at Tom Aiken’s restaurant in London.
After missing her last birthday, William decided to surprise his girlfriend with a private candlelit dinner in a remote cabin in Scotland. How romantic!
William, who understands his classy woman, decided to get her cultured pearl earrings for her birthday. Though it has been reported that the family cocker spaniel swallowed the earrings.
Her last birthday without a royal title. Kate spent it at Sarah Louise Stourton and Harry Aubrey-Fletcher's wedding, who are friends of hers and William’s.
The Big 30!
In 2012, Kate spent her first birthday as a Royal. She decided to keep it simple by having a dinner with family at Kensington Palace.
This was her first birthday as a pregnant woman. The Duchess battled morning sickness and the likes, but in the evening, she attended the Cirque de Soleil at Albert Hall. Her husband, parents, and siblings joined her.
An extraordinary one for Kate, as it was her first birthday as a mother. She spent it privately relaxing with her family in their country home in Norfolk.
Pregnant once again, Kate spent her birthday at her home with her family.
Becoming a habit, Kate spent her birthday with her family, now joined by the newest member, Princess Charlotte.
She enjoyed her birthday in their home in Norfolk, as they were soon to be relocating to London where Prince George would start school.
Last year, the Duchess was once again pregnant. She decided to spend her birthday privately with her family and enjoying their love.
Well, you're up to date, that's how she's been celebrating her birthdays over the past years.
What might the Duchess do today?
It's very likely that the Duchess might spend her birthday privately with her family and, of course, her youngest son, Prince Louis.
Sadly, we know Prince William won't be there as he is scheduled for a visit to the Royal London Hospital to celebrate 30 years of London’s air ambulance.
Once again, we wish the Duchess a happy birthday and hope she has a beautiful day!
