On the 13th of November every year, the World Kindness Day is celebrated in several parts of the world. The movement has grown since its inception in 1998, reminding us of how this charitable act is essential to us as humans.

Once again, the date provided an incentive and music icon Lady Gaga treated evacuated residents of Malibu to a good meal, managing to put a smile on their faces.

For the past few weeks, residents of Malibu have had to abandon their homes to escape the wildfire which has claimed several lives, and it wasn't getting any better.

Lady Gaga also had to abandon her home after it was surrounded by a cloud of smoke.

However, the beautiful singer was not discouraged. She came back to the shelter to help others who had been forced out like her, and she came bearing gifts - pizza.

Lady Gaga, as observed from the pictures shared on her Instagram page, was seen wearing a Malibu cap.

She certainly made their day, as many of them posed with her for pictures, and they had nothing but smiles. In another post, Lady Gaga shared a picture she took at the shelter and thanked members of the Red Cross for their help and support.

She went further and shared a video in which she gave an inspiring message.

She said:

Today is my favorite day of the year. It is World Kindness Day. I encourage you all to do one act of kindness even if it is for yourself.

The images and video which were shared through her social media pages have since inspired several others, both fans and colleagues alike.

Residents of California are still evacuating the areas at risk, but the support has been amazing.

They've been getting help from international organizations, donations from celebrities, and kind gestures from fellow citizens as well.

Remember, an act of kindness makes the world a better place!
