The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are well known for their regular PDA in events.
These romantic gestures are undoubtedly cute, even though they should show some restraint due to being royals and having to follow certain protocols.
Nonetheless, the couple can't seem to spend any moment together without holding hands or giving and receiving that occasional touch.
However, it seems the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are borrowing a page from their playbook as they have been seen more and more often showing affection in public.
On one of their royal duties, the couple attended a service in honor of Remembrance Day and were seen engaging in an act which seemed odd.
The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, had his hand on Kate's back as they walked; A rather uncommon behavior coming from him. Of course, that would be a regular thing for any couple - except for royalty.
It is believed that there are etiquettes and protocols to be followed, and although the rules are not against some PDA once in a while, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, often prefer to keep their romance private.
While speaking to Daily Mail, body language expert and royal commentator Judi James gave her opinion on the sudden change.
Judi claimed that it was a rare thing to see the royal couple hand in hand, but the occurance on Remembrance Day was an exception.
She went further ahead to add that the Prince purposely demonstrated a 'protective form of affection.’
Another instance when the couple once again showed some unexpected PDA was at Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
During the wedding ceremony, which was held at the St. George's Cathedral, Prince William and Kate were seen with their hands on each other's thighs, as well as backs.
This was witnissed on several occasions throughout the day.
The reason for this sudden change is unclear, but it is believed to be mostly a result of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's influence.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have always been quick to show the world how lovey-dovey they can be whenever they got the chance, and it seems their behavior is having an effect on the next in line to the throne and his wife as well.
Well, their fans certainly don't have a problem with that, and we'll love to see some more PDA coming from William and Kate, too.
