Looks like Doc and Marty had a fun reunion recently, giving 'Back To The Future' fans quite the treat.
Former co-stars Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd hit the red carpet together. Lloyd, who played Doc Brown in the 1985 hit, joined Fox, who had the role of Marty McFly, as they both appeared at a fundraiser for the Parkinson's charity which Fox set up after his diagnosis.
The 57-year-old actor was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease over 20 years ago. The condition is a degenerative disorder that causes brain damage over time and manifests in severe tremors. Fox announced his condition in 1998 and, soon after, he created The Michael J. Fox Foundation to bring awareness to the disease and also help advance research in the field.
This was not the first time the Fox and Lloyd have reunited this year. In August, the pair also came together for a group photo with other stars from the movie, like Thomas Wilson (Biff) and Lea Thompson (Marty's mom), which Lloyd would later post online.
The picture was taken when the group attended the Fan Expo Boston. While they were there, they commented on the possibility of there being a 'Back To The Future' sequel.
According to Metro, Wilson said this was very unlikely;
Basically, I think America is saying, 'Come on they've wrecked every other franchise with bad sequels, why not this one?' C'mon, we would watch it until it sucks.
Fox, at the time, implied that the decision of whether or not to do another movie ultimately rested on co-creator Bob Gale. Thompson chimed in, saying the movie had an important lesson for anyone who watched it, especially for children.
This movie was so powerful to show to your children because it's the idea that if you do the right thing, if you have the courage, if you stand up for yourself at the right moment of your life, you can change not only your future but your children's future.
While at the foundation's annual event, Michael J Fox also had a special surprise for fans. Despite dealing with the severe tremors brought on by his condition, he took to the stage with rock legend Joan Jett. They jammed together on electric guitars to the delight of the audience.
The actor's family was also there to show their support.
Tracy, his wife of 30 years, and their four children dressed to impress on the red carpet as well.
