In April 2019, about a month before they welcomed their first child, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved out of the Kensington Palace and into their new home, Frogmore Cottage.

According to the BBC, renovations were carried out at the property as they prepared to make the move. And now that baby Sussex has arrived, this will be the home that the little one will very likely grow up in.

The Frogmore Cottage was reportedly originally built in 1801 under the direction of Queen Charlotte. At the time, it served as a retreat for the Royal and her unmarried daughters.

Now, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have decided that it will make a good home for them as a family. While the couple must have a good reason for making that choice, we cannot ignore certain spooky facts about Frogmore Cottage's history and neighborhood.

It has been reported that there is a private burial ground, which has become the final resting place for several royals and their family, across from the cottage. For example, the Royal Mausoleum is where Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were buried.

Victoria's mother, former King Edward VIII and his wife Wallis Simpson were also buried nearby. In addition, the cottage is pretty close to a small chapel, St. George's, where 10 kings dating back to 1492 were buried.

If that's not enough, at the Windsor Castle, which is near Frogmore Cottage, there have been a few creepy sightings of King Henry VIII, one of his wives, Anne Boleyn and even their daughter, Elizabeth.

Now, if the Sussexes aren't the type to concern themselves with the spooky history of their abode, then it really shouldn't matter. And, really, we cannot say for sure whether those sightings actually happened or they were made up.

So chances are Archie won't have creepy ghostly interactions. It does sound like Frogmore Cottage will be the perfect location to have a seance, though. You know, just in case you're into all that.
