Prince Harry is such a natural with little kids. So it's no wonder that when a child looked really upset during one of Harrry's recent public appearances, the royal did something to help.
If you're a fan of the royal family, you probably have a favorite. And for this little boy, it's apparently the Duchess of Sussex.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid a visit to Sussex recently, they greeted the crowd in the same fashion most of the members of the family do. Each person takes one side of the road so that no one feels left out.
However, there was a little boy who seemed very upset that he was not lucky enough to be on the side of the road that Meghan walked along. So when the Duke approached him, he heard the little boy crying.
In this video obtained by the UK Mirror, Prince Harry took a second to ask the boy if he was okay. Then he told someone standing next to the child that, "you need to cheer him up."
As Prince Harry moved along to chat with others in the crowd, we could hear a woman tell the boy, "we didn't get to see the princess." Aww!
This was Meghan and Harry's official visit to the county of Sussex, which happens to be where their official titles originated from. The Duke wore a grey suit and white shirt while the Duchess was stunning in a dark green leather skirt and a green shirt. She also sported a cream-colored Armani coat.
During their tour, the Duke and Duchess visited the town of Chichester and then went on to view a rare copy of the American Declaration of Independence. Afterward, they visited the cities of Brighton and Hove, and the Survivor's Network, a charity aimed at supporting survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
To round off their tour, the royals went to the JOFF Youth Centre, a community for youths to engage in positive activities. No doubt, they had a very busy day, but it's pretty clear that the cheering crowd they encountered at each stop was excited to see them.
