Kate Middleton's Mom Comes Under Fire For Selling 'Zombie Princess Diana' Halloween Costume

A friend of the late Princess Diana is coming after Kate Middleton's mom because she was selling a pretty controversial Halloween costume.
The outfit was meant for children who would like to be dressed as a blood-soaked princess for Halloween. It features a white dress, covered in fake blood, which also showed the princess' ribcage and organs.
Simone Simmons, Diana's friend, said she considered this quite "sick" and hoped that speaking out about it would encourage people to boycott Carole Middleton's website.
The dress was on sale on the website. However, it looks like it has been taken down following the negative media that surrounded it.
Carole Party Pieces website described the costume as a "Zombie Sleeping Princess costume in pink includes a dress with chest print detail." The blood and gore were believed to mimic Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in 1997.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Simone called the whole thing "warped and twisted" and expressed her anger at the fact that the company must have really been trying to scrape the barrel for ideas.
Another person who was upset was the editor in chief of Majesty magazine and royal author Ingrid Seward, who said the costume was "in very poor taste."
Many internet users have taken to social media to express their views on the matter.
Most of them felt like Carole Middleton should not have been attacked that way since the doll did not really resemble the late Princess of Wales, and the description did not imply anything as such.
It did not help that Carole Middleton has, in the past, been accused of trying to cash in on being a part of the royal family. So one can understand why it felt like she was trying to do the same now.
