Is there a reason for these neutral looks?

There has been a couple of opinions as to why Meghan Markle has been choosing this palette of colors for recent events. It is possible that, given that she is not the most senior member of the royal family, she may be choosing to blend in instead of drawing attention away from the more significant royals.

However, royal commentator Victoria Arbiter, who spoke to Town&Country, said it's probably due to a personal preference. She insisted that color choices do not have anything to do with hierarchy and seniority in the royal family. Meghan may simply just like these colors.
