Usually, Prince William and Kate Middleton are not fans of PDA. Compared to his brother Prince Harry and sister-in-law Meghan Markle, Prince William is a little less touchy-feely with his wife.

Speaking of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the pair did not disappoint when it came to PDAs at the wedding. In fact, they basically could not keep their hands off each other.

William and Kate must have caught the bug too because they also seemed to be in a touchy mood. The couple sat right next to each other and Kate placed her hand on William's thigh during the ceremony.

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the event wearing an all-burgundy Alexander McQueen dress and fascinator. Her husband, on the other hand, wore a light-colored vest, tailcoat, and gray pants.

It's possible that Will and Kate were more willing to show some PDA since this was a family event, not an official one. While speaking to People in 2016, etiquette expert, Myka Meier said that as "working representatives of British Monarchy," the couple does not engage in displays of affection such as hugging or holding hands. The goal is to remain professional, Meier explained.

She, however, clarified that if they did hold hands, they won't actually be breaking any protocol. It's simply a matter of preference. And of course, the nature of the event they are attending.

The wedding was a special family affair as the couple's children Prince George and Princess Charlotte served as a pageboy and a bridesmaid respectively. The kids looked like they had a good time as well.

The couple's youngest child, Prince Louis, was not at the event. Considering that he's five months old, this is understandable. Although, it would have been really cool to see the family of five.
