Royal Rebels: 3 Traditions Young Parents Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Absolutely Break

Date May 3, 2019

April has come and gone with no news of Baby Sussex in sight, so fans of the British Royal Family are in an anxious state. While we are not sure if Baby Sussex has been born, many have speculated, based on different signs, the possible gender of the child.

The editor-in-chief of Parents Magazine revealed during an interview with People TV that she believed Baby Sussex would be a girl.

She backed up her suggestion by explaining that Meghan has a high belly, meaning she was carrying a girl. If the belly were low, then it would be a boy.

The rebellious parents

While all these revelations are barely speculations, we are, however, certain of some royal traditions the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t plan on following with their new child. Here are 3 rules Prince Harry and Meghan will totally break.

1. Meghan won’t pose with the baby after childbirth

Unlike her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, it seems Meghan will skip the duty of posing with her newborn just hours after giving birth and showing him or her off to the world.

According to a statement released by the Sussexes, Prince Harry and Meghan prefer having a private moment with their child. It read:

“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

2. Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland, might be the baby’s nanny

It’s no news that Meghan is a mummy’s girl. So it comes as no surprise that she would only trust her baby to her mother.

As reported by Daily Star, Doria has been taking nanny lessons at the Cradle Company in Los Angeles. Coupled with the news that the grandmother-to-be plan to extend her stay in London, it seems Doria might grab the spot for Baby Sussex’s nanny.

Why else would she be taking nanny classes?

3. No merchandise will be released to mark the birth of Baby Sussex

According to Insider, no merchandise will be released to mark the birth of the royal baby. This information was confirmed to them by the Royal Collection Trust.

While this tradition was followed for all of Prince William and Kate’s three children, it seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t buy into it and want their child exempted from it.

When is Baby Sussex arriving?

On Thursday, Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry plans to visit The Netherlands between May 8 and 9. This gave fans an insight into Meghan’s due date as there is no way Prince Harry would leave Meghan and Baby Sussex.
