'I Just Want To Say Thank You!" Mom Praises Teenage Boy Who Stepped Up When Her Daughter Got Her Period On The School Bus

As a parent, one of your most important desires is to be there every time your child needs you. But the truth is this is not always going to be the case. There will come a time you won't be there to help your kid through something and your only hope is that someone else will step up.

This was why this mother could not thank a teenage boy enough when he came to her daughter's rescue. 

Hitting puberty can be a period of uncertainty for anyone. And, for young girls, one of the biggest fears is for them to get their period at a public place. It can be embarrassing and traumatic.

A woman shared a post on Gurgaon Moms Facebook group about how a teenager came to her's daughter's aid. The girl had got her period while on the school bus. 

She said that her daughter was on her way home from school when she realized that her period had started. A boy, who was a year older than her, noticed the stain on the girl's clothes and called her attention to it, the mom explained.

Considering how cruel people can be, it would have been easy for this boy to publicly announce the girl's dilemma, thus embarrassing her further. But this was a stand-up guy in every way imaginable.

He gave the girl his sweater so she could tie it around her waist as she got off the bus. At first, the young girl was hesitant, but he assured her that he had sisters and it was no big deal. The mom was incredibly touched upon hearing about that boy's kindness, so she took the time to appreciate him in her post. 

If you're this boy's Mom... I want to say thank you and that you're raising him right. 

She explained that she wanted to share the post to show that there are some positives about today's youth, even though it's been all about the negatives lately.
