Six-year-old Roni Littman was an absolute delight to watch when she rocked the runway like a pro at the London Kids Fashion Week.
This event, which was organized by Mini Mode, was Roni's first big break and the little girl captured people's attention as she showcased the brand Plumeti Rain.
Her mother, Shelley Littman, revealed that years ago Roni was conceived via IVF. After giving birth, she was told that her baby had Down's Syndrome. At the time, doctors were not very hopeful about the girl's development.
Shelley recalled thinking that her baby was incredibly beautiful. It was a few hours later that they revealed Roni's condition to her. The parents were told about the complications and implications of the condition.
They told the worried mom that her little girl may never walk or talk due to the condition. Despite that, they were determined to give Roni every opportunity they could, and this strong kid has proven those doctors wrong every step of the way.
As Roni only grew stronger and stronger as each day went by, her parents soon forgot about the diagnosis and focused on simply enjoying and raising their child.
A few years ago, Shelley said she began noticing her daughter's interest in acting and dancing. According to her, the little girl absolutely thrived in the limelight.
The mom encouraged her by enrolling her in a drama school and paying for dance lessons, as well. Even though she had learning delays, Roni absolutely shone in these areas.
Shelly got an opportunity to give her daughter a real taste of the limelight when Zebedee Management, a casting agency for people with disabilities, agreed to sign her on.
Speaking with Virgin Media Television, Shelley revealed that she was very proud to watch her daughter modeling at the event.
She absolutely loved it. She felt like a star and looked like one. She felt a real sense of achievement, and so did I.
Apart from her blossoming modeling career, Roni has also acted in children's TV shows and has even been asked to promote the River Island brand.
Way to go, Roni!
