Some of the most difficult math problems are the ones that seem simple at first glance but by the time you dive in, you realize just how much brain power goes into solving it.

There is some good news when it comes to math: it's all about rules. Unlike random riddles and word puzzles, you need to have an idea of certain formulas and regulations to know which one will work for the problem you have at hand.

Now you might be wondering; what's the point of all this?

Keep in mind that being good at math means it becomes easier for you to solve normal day-to-day tasks. Let's say, for example, you want to measure a cup of flour but your cup goes missing. Do you find yourself stuck? Or do you do a quick calculation and realize that one cup is the same as 16 tablespoons? That means you can use your tablespoon measurement for the same purpose.

Do you see where math can come in handy? Now, have you been able to successfully tackle the above problem?

If your answer is 6, then you're correct. According to the rule of PEDMAS, you solve the division before the addition. When you do that, you get 3 + 3 and that's how you arrive at your answer.

If you didn't get it correctly, that's alright. Just keep practicing and you'll get better. While you do that, be sure to share this post too so your loved ones can give this puzzle a try.
