This was the treat young Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja gave soccer fans at the LA Galaxy match on Sunday when she gave a soulful rendition of the national anthem. It seemed her sweet voice did so much good for the team that they beat the Sounders a whopping 3 goals to nothing. What a good luck charm!

This was no easy feat for Malea, who admitted that hitting those notes required a lot of hard work and perseverance.

Unsurprisingly, this was not Malea’s first time of singing for the crowd. She has already performed at the Carnegie Hall, and recently wowed fans at the Hollywood Bowl.

This rising star, who started singing at the tender age of 1, is something to watch out for in the music scene. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she enthusiastically said,

a singer, doctor, actress, violinist.

During her interview with CBS, the little star was questioned about her favorite song. She replied eagerly, saying it was ‘And I’m telling you I’m not going’ by Jennifer Holliday. Not only did Malea state her favorite tune, but she also did give a stunning performance to the interviewer.

Her performance was shared on the official Twitter page of the LA Galaxy team, and it went viral instantly. It amassed over 41,000 likes and 14,000 interactions on the platform.

Malea might be only 7 years old, but she possesses a voice deserving of praise. Soar on, Malea!
