These wonderful young women have always been in the center of everybody’s attention. It all started from the moment they were born and parents realized their twins are actually conjoined.
Abigail 'Abby' and Brittany Hensel were born in March 1990. They are separate twins, but share one body. Of course, their parents tried to do everything possible to find the treatment and were discussing the possibility of the surgery with doctors.
However, because of how intertwined their organs were, doctors worried that one or both of them would not survive the surgery.
That is why, after some time twins’ parents gave up the idea of separating sisters.
And it was actually a good decision, and they have never regretted it. Moreover, sisters began to develop skills that helped them thrive.
The parents believed that their quality of life right now is better than what could have been the case if they had been separated and survived the procedure.
Dream came true
Now, conjoined twins Brittany and Abby's lifetime dream came true: sisters got a dream job as fifth-grade math teachers!
They share one passon and it's so great!
Congratulations, Brittany and Abby!
