A Tricky Illusion: How Many Legs Can You See In The Picture?

Some riddles are easy to decipher, others can be quite confusing. The ones that seem to lead to the most argument on social media or even among friends are illusions.
This is because illusions are usually based on perception. What you see can be quite different from what the other person sees. And trying to see the same thing from someone else's perspective can prove to be a challenge in many cases.

Why do people love illusions, then? Well, it can be quite fascinating when you take a moment and realize that different individuals can see the same things in their own unique ways. It's a reminder that, just because we disagree with someone's views, it doesn't always mean we are right and they are wrong.

Sometimes, it just means they do not see things as we do, which is alright. We are all unique, after all.
Take this riddle, for instance, you are very likely to attempt to solve it based on what you see, but you will soon find out that you may need quite a few glances at the image to figure it out.
The question is really simple, though. How many legs can you see in the image?
The answer, however, may not be what you expect. Give it a try: Are there 7 legs? 8? Or perhaps even 12?
As it turns out, there are actually 13 legs in the picture. 6 legs are facing downwards while 7 are facing the upward direction.
