We all got to hear about Susan Boyle was when she first auditioned for Britain's Got Talent in 2009. At the time, she was a 47-year-old woman trying to prove herself as a singer.

Initially, no one thought she had much to offer when she stepped up onto the stage for her audition. The judges and audience alike were very cynical and chose to assume the worst simply based on her looks.

However, a few seconds after she started singing, she blew everyone away. The eye-rolling and skepticism were replaced with thundering applause and wonder. And of course, she got a 'yes' from all the judges at the end of the day.

Only two years after her first-ever ever performance, Susan Boyle returned to blow everyone away.

She performed the classic tune 'Unchained Melody', a hit which has been synonymous with The Righteous Brothers ever since the 50s.

The humble Susan Boyle did a terrific job with her own rendition of the song and, by the time she was done, she had captured the hearts of many. Fans of The Righteous Brothers have to admit that Boyle's performance of the song was powerful and a joy to listen to.

Words of praises and approval followed the video after it was posted to YouTube. Many commenters shared what they thought of the song. YouTube user Sarah McCormack said:

A simply stunning version of this song Susan. I brought my mum your album about 5 years ago knowing she would love it. She had just been diagnosed with breast cancer at the time. Unfortunately she passed away 3 weeks ago and she had requested your unchained melody be played at her funeral. It was simply breathtaking and everyone was in tears. Luv it Susan.

Another user, Edi Santana Barbosa, put it simply when he commented:

This woman's talent is a gift to humanity.
