For Kate's classic evening look, you should warm up your cheeks with a little more color and contour. Since it's nighttime, you may have to do just a little more for your stunning face to stand out. To get more definition, try darker highlights and "a bit more pop," Kapahi said.

Here are a few more pointers to keep in mind:

Foundation

Go for dewy or matte foundations. Don't use anything that looks too glossy.

In fact, if you do not have problematic areas on your face, apply the foundation only on certain spots instead of creating a thick mask all over your face.

Blusher

They highlight the apple of your cheeks and Kate loves them. They give you a lovely glow.

Eyes

Kate's eyes always draw attention and this is not by accident. Use a neutral eyeshadow across your lid, then apply pale brown or taupe shades over it.

You can then use a grey or darker brown eyeshadow for your eyelid. A black liner along the upper lashes adds a finishing touch that helps help create the perfect smoky eye effect.

Lips

Kate avoids bold lip colors as much as possible. Natural-colored shades are always flattering and in trend.

Whatever you do, keep in mind that the Duchess is pretty subtle when it comes to makeup. You can easily pull it off as well.
