How to fix a clogged drain

1. Baking soda. Baking soda is widely used as a cleansing agent, but this substance can also fix a clogged drain. It is better to mix it with salt, vinegar or hot water.

Want a recipe? Just mix 1/3 cup of vinegar with the same amount of baking soda. Be careful: the mixture will fizz as soon as you make it. You should act quickly - just our it down the clogged sink.

The fizzing effect helps remove the blockage. Leave the mixture for a long period of time for a better effect.

2. A bent wire hook. You may use an ordinary wire coat hanger, just straighten and bend it over to make a hook.

Then push it down the drain and start to move it. This tool can help to remove all sorts of stuff from the pipe.

3. Hot water. Hot water can also help. Just half fill the sink with water and add a plunger. Take the plunger and place it over the drain. Then move the plunger up and down.

5. Dish detergent. If the toilet is clogged, take 1/4 cup of dish detergent and pout the substance into it. Boil some water and pour it into the bowl. Then it is time for a plunger! Start plunging and you will see the result.
