While you might not be able to understand abandoning your children, there are millions of people all over the world who engage in such unspeakable behavior.
According to Unicef, in 2004, there were over 143 million orphaned and abandoned children in just 93 developing countries. And this number increases daily.

The woman who forgot her baby at the airport
The Saudia Flight SV832 from Jeddah to Kaula Lumpur had to turn back to the airport, and the cause has caused an uproar on social media.
A video, which has gone viral, shows the pilot seeking permission from the aviation staff to return to the airport.
The staff was naturally confused, as there was no procedure for this. What did they need to turn back for?
When the pilot was told to confirm his reason he said:
”We told you, a passenger left her baby in the terminal and refuses to continue the flight.”
According to Gulf News, the woman had forgotten her baby in the departure lounge at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport.

The mother was frantic, and one can only imagine how she must have felt, she alerted the cabin crew and requested she get her baby back.
The aviation staff cleared them saying:
”OK, head back to the gate. This is totally a new one for us!'
It isn't clear if the plane had already taken off or was still taxiing towards the runway when the woman realized she had forgotten her baby.
