He was joined by his partner Irina Shayk, who matched his formal look with a stunning cleavage revealing pantsuit.

Lady Gaga's emotional speech

Cooper told ET that he was hopeful for a win, but he was more keen to see Lady Gaga win at the Grammys - their hit song Shallow got 4 nominations including Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

It came as no surprise that Gaga walked home with the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, but no one expected her inspiring speech in which she thanked God for always looking out for her and then added:

If I don't get a chance to say this, I just want to say I'm so proud to be part of a movie that addresses mental health issues. That's so important. A lot of artistes deal with that and we've got to take care of each other.

Stunning performance

It wasn't all tearful speeches for the pop icon though. She gave the Grammy crowd a hair-raising performance of Shallow.

And just in case anyone was wondering if the old Gaga had been laid to rest in favor of the fresh-faced Ally, this performance was a phenomenal reminder that The Fame Monster singer has still got it.
