Alzheimer's Patients Receive Baby Dolls For Therapy: Their Reaction Is Touching To The Core

Alzheimer’s is one of the many diseases that still has no cure known to men. It is heart-wrenching to watch our beloved ones lose their memory and ability to think.

Many elderly suffering from any kind of dementia are placed in nursing homes because they need constant care from professionals. Unfortunately, one of the saddest symptoms is memory loss. Not only is a person likely to forget recent events, but also their whole life: Family, relationships, experiences. That is why it gets harder to bring them joy and positive emotions.

However, Shannon Grey Blair and Sandy Cambron did something amazing for people with Alzheimer’s in a nursing home. So amazing, it is hard to hold back tears!

Both women have already been through the experience of dealing with dementia in their family. Sandy’s late mother-in-law was very attached to a baby doll.

It gave Sandy the idea to deliver baby dolls to a nursing care unit. The result was beyond what she could ever have expected.

The elderly women held the dolls and were moved to tears.

Shannon and Sandy delivered 28 babies and 4 puppies to the unit.

Watching these elderly people is touching to the core!

It seems like they experienced a throwback to the their youth and recollected those feelings they had while holding a baby or petting a pup.

You can watch a video and witness the priceless moment yourself!

The way they responded was both precious heart-breaking.
