Funny Wife Sums Up Everything About Married Life With Totally Relatable And Hilarious Comics
No marriage is perfect, but wouldn't it be the best thing if you can laugh off your problems?
Cartoonist Adrienne Hedger is encouraging more couples to do just that thanks to her amazingly hilarious comics which she shares on her Facebook and Instagram account.
Hedger is truly gifted with the ability to find humour in basically any situation and she's only too happy to share her joy with the world.
The mother of two illustrates her marital experiences coming from 18 years of marriage and we just can't believe how relatable they are.
She captures several moments such as marital disagreements, dealing with rambunctious kids and having to get past the little annoying things that your spouse does.
Speaking to HuffingtonPost, Adrienne says part of her inspiration is being married to someone who is her "opposite in so many ways."
So these funny moments are always there if they choose to see it as such and they make for a pretty interesting marriage.
Clearly, instead of obsessing over their differences, Adrienne and her husband have chosen to have a good laugh about them.
Her husband and her two daughters, aged 12 and 14, provide her with many inspiration for her cartoons in their everyday life.
She also gets ideas from situations that her friends and family go through. Once she witnesses or experiences a great concept, she writes them down or records a voice memo so she will not forget them.
Adrienne says that one of the best parts of her work is seeing how great it makes others feel. Some of her fans share these funny cartoons with their significant other and couple share a moment of connection and laughter, like, "‘This is so us."
Being in a relationship can be hard. We have to remember to step back and laugh at ourselves. I hope my cartoons bring that perspective to people.
It's quite difficult to go through Adrienne's work without laughing at a few especially with your significant other. She is certainly great at what she does.
