Hopefully, not! Organic food, grown with no synthetic chemicals or fertilizers, genetic engineering, radiation, and sewage sludge are more expensive, but you can be sure in its safety. If this is not an option for your wallet, and you still buy products with high level of pesticides, wash them very thoroughly, and try to get rid of the peels – they absorb the majority of toxins.

The damage of pesticides may be long-termed and even reflect in the next generations. According to the doctors, organic food could be much more beneficial for children’s brain development. If there are small kids in the family, it is essential to stick to organic, as exposure to the toxins may affect the normal process of growth and development of babies.

Knowledge is one of the most powerful weapons in the fight for your health, so taking care of what we eat now could be a great investment in the health of future generations.
