Being young is usually all about trying to fit in and watching every step because not only are you still figuring out who you are, you are also trying to get as many people on your side as possible. But as you get older, these insecurities gradually melt away and then you are in your 60s and 70s, living your life and not worrying so much about what people will think or say.
So, it's no surprise that this grandmother is letting loose and having fun without a care in the world. She is not bothered by the fact that she's being recorded or that others might see the video. She is at a point in her life where all she cares about is what brings her joy - and that's dancing.
In fact, medical experts agree with her. To keep your mind and body sharp regardless of your age, regular exercising is key. So, this woman is definitely on the right track to enjoying more awesome and active years.
A video of the grandmother dancing in her kitchen was posted to YouTube a while ago. She was recorded dancing to Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby', and this woman's got the moves.
Not only did she grace us with her pretty groovy dance moves, she also managed to prepare a meal in the process - multitasking at its best.
Since the video was posted online, it has received over 336,000 views and many people were simply uplifted by her incredible spirit.
A commenter, Grisel Calcagno, said, "She's awesome! Keep up, lady, you look great!"
We totally agree. Check her out below and tell us she did not put a smile on your face. We dare you.
Evidently, dancing in the kitchen might actually hold a special appeal for grandmothers. A woman also went viral a few years ago when this video of her dancing to 'You Make Me Wanna', by Usher, made its way onto YouTube. She did her very best to rock the singer's dance moves and people absolutely loved it.
It really just goes to show that age is nothing but a number. If you can still move like Usher in your 60s and 70s, have some fun with it. We only live once, right?
