How Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Were Able To Keep Their Relationship A Secret For So Long. Royal Expert Reveals All
Today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are one of the most famous couples in the world. They are making headlines daily and millions of people are very interested in their lives.
The royal wedding they celebrated on the May 19 was the true manifestation of love, and it wowed the fans with its beauty and genuineness.
Interestingly, a year ago, not a lot of people knew much about them as a couple. The Prince was single and Meghan was known as the actress on the TV show 'Suits.'
This is because the pair put a lot of effort into keeping their relationship a secret.
So, how were they able to get away with that seeing as both of them are super famous in their respective fields? Well, Royal Expert Katie Nicholl is giving us some insights.
In her new book titled, 'Harry: Life, Loss, and Love', Katie made some interesting revelations. She explained that Harry and Meghan wanted those first few months for themselves.
However, news filtered to the public when Harry traveled to Toronto to meet Meghan, who was in the middle of filming.
Harry was shocked to find out the visit had made headlines. To get the public off his trail, he canceled his Toronto flight and made it look like he was back at home in the UK, but this did not stop paparazzi from swarming Meghan's home regardless.
Mehan and Harry then enlisted the help of her close friends, Ben and Jessica Mulroney, who at the time, were two of the very few people that knew about the relationship.
The Mulroney home provided a place for the couple to simply be and enjoy one another. It served as a sanctuary when they needed it.
As the foursome got to know each other, Ben, the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, shared stories of how Princess Diana once stayed with their family during an official tour to Canada. Harry's mom got bored of political talk that evening and she ventured into the nursery to play with Ben and his siblings.
This couple certainly put a lot of effort into ensuring they enjoyed the first five months of their relationship and it must have worked out great as they have already tied the knot on May 19.
