A little boy managed to escape a horrific end, thanks to his dedication to God and his persistent singing of His praise.
10-year-old Willie Myrick was abducted a few years ago after a man allegedly lured him with some money. The kidnapper grabbed the young boy and quickly drove away with him.

During the journey, which reportedly took three hours, Willie did not stop singing the song 'Every Praise' by Hezekiah Walker. His captor became irritated, yelling and cursing at him to shut up, but Willie did not let up.
When it became too much for the kidnapper to handle, he ended up dropping the boy off unharmed.

Willie shared his story during a local church event which was organized to celebrate the fact that he was safe. He told the congregation that the kidnapper told him not to tell anyone, as he opened the car door and threw the boy out.
Walker, who sings the song that saved the boy, was also among the congregation. In an incredibly emotional meeting with the 10-year-old, he said, "you never know who you're going to touch."
Walker said he just wanted to meet Willie and tell the schoolboy how much the story meant to him.
I really believe that God spoke through me to save that young man's life.
When you're in trouble, it's easy to underestimate the weapons you have in your possession. This boy had nothing physical to fend off the criminals.

What he had was his faith and persistence. And at the end of the day, that was all he needed to save his own life.
