1. Spray cleaner

Use:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbs of baking soda
  • 10 drops of tea tree oil

Mix all the components and pour it into a spray can, you can use it on any surface you like: Furniture, wooden floors or tiles. Dirt and grime will come off, and tea tree oil will work as an anti-bacterial agent.

  • 1 1/4 cups boiling water
  • 1 tbs washing soda
  • 1/4 cup grated castile bar soap
  • 10-30 drops essential oils

Grate the castile soap and add it into boiling water, stir it well until it dissolves. Add washing soda and, when the mixture cools down, add some drops of essential oil.

3. Air freshener

Use:

  • 15 drops of essential oil
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • ½ cup of white vinegar

Mix all together and pour into spray bottle. Spray it any time you feel it is needed. White camphor, eucalyptus, rosemary, and tangerine are good essential oils for purifying air.

4. Toilet bowl cleaner

Use:

  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup baking soda

First, spray the lemon juice inside the toilet bowl, letting it rest for about 15 minutes. After the mixture does its job, sprinkle baking soda inside and brush it. The stains and odor will be gone.

5. Liquid laundry detergent 

Use:

  • 1 cup of borax
  • 17 cups of water
  • 1 cup of castile soap
  • 1 cup of washing soda
  • 10-15 drops of any essential oil of your preference

Boil 6 cups of water After its done, add borax and washing soda, stirring it constantly. In a bucket, make another mixture – 11 cups of water, the castille soap and the essential oil. Pour the hot mixture into the bucket and finally mix it all together. While washing, you can use 1/2 cup of this detergent mixture for a full load of laundry. If you have stains which do not come off easily, apply the mixture directly on them and let it rest before washing in the machine.

6. Cleaning liquid for mirrors and glass

Use:

  • ¼ cup of white vinegar
  • 1 tbs of cornstarch
  • 2 cups of water
  • 10 drops of any essential oil

Mix all the ingredients together and pour in an empty spray can. Before using, shake the bottle.
